You can change artist name or any other ID3 tag Artist, Album, Genre, Year using replace dialog Ctrl+R.
With Replace dialog you can also delete any ID3 tag. To delete tags just check check box for specific tag and leave it with empty.

    Hi there,

now I’ve installed the update 8.80; the described prob stayed the same.

It would be very kind, if one of the admins or someone who knows the future of the Media Player would give an information, if there is a chance, that this is a problem that will be solved somewhen, or if I have to live with the existing sorting.

    Best regards,
    Matthias Dorr

    >The problem is when I go back to Itunes; over there, songs that have artwork and >lyrics, dont get the lyrics recognized; only songs that have only lyrics do.

    >When I go to the ipod (nano), some songs that have artwork, do not show; yet the >lyrics of those that show correctly on itunes appear on the ipod screen.

This problem has been fixed with updated version of Zortam Mp3 Media Studio 5.90.
You can download updated version from our web site.

This problem has been resolved with updated version of Zortam Mp3 Media Studio 5.90.

We have resolved this problem with iTunes.
iTunes by default saves picture in ID3 picture tag called Others.
We have resolved this problem with iTunes in version 5.95.
iTunes by default saves Album art in ID3 picture tag called Others. In Zortam Mp3 Media Studio go to ID3V2 tags ans select [All Pictures]-[Select Photo], and choose from combobox [Others] and you will be able to see album arts saved via iTunes.

ID3 standard has values for picture tags:
    0 – Others
    3 – Cover Album Art
    4 – Back Cover
    etc.

For some reason iTunes saves album art to “Others” picture tag.
So all pictures from iTunes are visible in Zortam Mp3 Media Studio at “Others” Picture tag in ID3V2 view.
Zortam Mp3 Media Studio saves picture to “Front Cover”(3) picture tag and also to “Others”(0) picture tag, so Album arts are visible on iPod and any other portable Mp3 player.
We recomend to use Zortam for batch entering picture arts and lyric to ID3 tags.
All arts and lyric entered by Zortam are visible in iTunes and iPod and any other portable Mp3 player.
If you save arts with iTunes it will be visible in Zortam as “Others” picture tag.

Thanks for pointing to this problem.

This problem has been resolved with updated version of Zortam Mp3 Media Studio 5.90.
You can download updated version from our web site.

We have removed newline chars from CSV file, and repleced them with [NewLine] string.
This prevent breaking lyrics in CSV.

Before you enter data into database just replace [NewLine] string with chars “rn”.

    Hello,

    Thanks for suggestions.

You can download the latest version of LAME encoder from the internet.
All new version of LAME are compatible with Zortam applications.
Just copy a newest version of lame.exe and lame_enc.dll to Zortam application folder.

We do not distribute the latest version of LAME because you can always download the latest version of LAME from the internet.

    Yes you can.
You should use options Mp3 HTML Export to export selected files as a Web page.
You may consider using options Create Lyrics Book, which creates lyrics-cover book in HTML friendly format.
You can print a lyrics book if your browser supports CSS2 defined by W3C.

All song data are saved into .zor files.
If you want to save settings just export Zortam registry settings using regedt32.exe to .reg file.

What I did was to create a small batch file in my Winamp install folder, named

    C:Program FilesWinampwinamp-enqueue.bat

This batch file contains only one line :

    “C:Program FilesWinampwinamp.exe” /ADD %1

and I pointed Zortam MP3 Media Studio Pro (7.65) to use this batch file via

    Alt-O (open options)
    General Preferences (Tab)
(unchecked Use Integrated Zortam Mp3 Player)
Mp3 Player Path : set to
    C:Program FilesWinampwinamp-enqueue.bat

(or whatever you names your batch file to above)

and clicked OK. Yes, a black DOS box comes up momentarily, but now Zortam doesn’t overwrite my mp3 playlist in winamp when I play (Ctrl-P) an .mp3 file from within Zortam.

Simply trying to add various combinations of /Add to the winamp command in the config window didn’t work, so old batch programming skills to the rescue :)

After detail reserch we have found that this error is in connection with the hardware.
We have tested several computers with Windows2000 Server and with windows2000 Professional and
with Sp3 and SP4 but we couldn’t get the error that you have noticed.
So it looks that this type of error apears on low perctange of computers that are running windows 2000.

So please, you guys that have problem please send us to support@zortam.com your hardware configuration and we will keep trying to resolve that problem.
