Hello! I really like your software — it’s very well done and comprehensive.
I’m looking to do a find and replace function on the title field of MP3
ID1/2 tags — while keeping other information in the title field — and I wonder if Zortam will do it.
For example, I have about 100 files that have the words “String Quartet”
in the title and I’d like to replace those words with the abbreviation “SQ”; but following the words “String Quartet” are other words that are specific to each file.
So I’m trying to change *FROM* the following:
String Quartet Op. 139 — movement 1, allegro String Quartet Op. 139 — movement 2, andante String Quartet Op. 139 — movement 3, minuet String Quartet Op. 139 — movement 3, presto
*TO* the following:
SQ Op. 139 — movement 1, allegro
SQ Op. 139 — movement 2, andante
SQ Op. 139 — movement 3, minuet
SQ Op. 139 — movement 3, presto
AND do it all in a batch function. (On a second pass, for example, I’d change “movement” to “mvt” — all this is to make the file names easier and faster to read on an MP3 player.)
Can your software do this, or do you know of a way to do it?
Thanks!
Aaron
