    In Zortam MP3 Media Studio, go to the top menu and select File > New Library (or Library Management). Give your new library a descriptive name, such as Network_NAS.zor or FLAC_Collection.zor.

  2. Scan the Target Drive or Folder:

    With your new library active, open View > Computer and navigate to the specific local directory, external drive, or mapped network share. Zortam will scan and index those files exclusively into the active .zor database.

  3. Switch Between Libraries Instantly:

    To switch databases at any time, select File > Open Library and pick whichever .zor file you want to work with. The interface will instantly update to show only the indexed files for that collection.
