How to Auto-Catalog Your Music Collection

  1. Open the Computer Folder Tree:

    In Zortam MP3 Media Studio, go to the top menu and select View > Computer to display your physical hard drive directory tree.

  2. Browse to Your Music Folders:

    Navigate through your drives or folders. As Zortam reads the selected folder structure, all supported audio files (MP3, FLAC, WAV, M4A, WMA) are analyzed automatically.

  3. Automatic Library Addition (.zor):

    Zortam automatically extracts track metadata, checks for existing entries in your active .zor library database, and adds all new tracks while skipping duplicate files.

  4. Instant Library Access:

    Switch to the Library view to browse, filter, or auto-tag your newly indexed tracks instantly by Artist, Album, Genre, or Year.
